s.l.i.p. | Unexpected Outcome  MAIN

Our main purpose in the creation of Unexpected Outcome was the urgency to dematerialize reality and build a new one. We recovered materials destined to the incinerator, modified their structure and appearance to create abstract landscapes and give them a new life, only to return them, in the end, to their inescapable fate - the waste.

Prodigy is, at its essence, adaptability and persistent, positive obsession.

Without persistence, what remains is an enthusiasm of the moment.

Without adaptability, what remains may be channeled into destructive fanaticism.

Without positive obsession, there is nothing at all.

Octavia E. Butler | Parable of the Sower (1993)

While we consider inevitable to present ourselves with our real first and last names to a client interested in the production of the installation, we ask that our belief in authorial anonymity is respected by identifying ourselves with the acronym s.l.i.p.
